Four Twelve is more than just a construction company. We are deeply invested in our local community, specifically within Baltimore City. Part of our responsibility to our city, is through using our company as a tool for motivational change. It is extremely important to our company to bring positive, measurable growth to the communities in which we operate our business in. Community involvement benefits not only companies but also employees, and the community surrounding in multiple ways.
Since our inception, Four Twelve has participated in numerous community service programs – many of which, have been hyper local in our very own backyard of Greenmount West – one of the many neighborhoods that our company calls home. As we have grown our company, we have identified many amazing institutions in Baltimore with which we were eager to partner with. We have partnered with The Montessori School in Greenmount West to form a curriculum called our “Builders of Tomorrow Program,” where we teach gifted math, science and arts students about architecture and construction. We have worked with local non-profits to perform construction work for Low Income Legacy Residents in our community, including the repair of a roof for a family whose house was in immediate need. We also pride ourselves on local and minority hiring – creating over 1,000 hours living wage salaries for local minority youth in 2017, with a goal to exceed that impressive number in 2018.
Four Twelve is also incorporating a Young Entrepreneurs Program. We are looking for young, motivated, men and women interested in learning entrepreneurship, sales, and marketing. We are targeting passionate highschool and college students looking for a part-time job.
